The Wonder of Legs

Oh how I wish I could glide gracefully like a pelican, run like an eastern dragon, dive like a penguin, catch fish like an Alaskan bear, weave a beautiful web with threads of gold… but I don’t have the legs to achieve these feats.  On further thought, nor do I need to hunt for my survival or flee from aggressive predators.

Long or short, thick and muscly or finely built, covered with feathers, fur, scales or leathery skin the legs of our fauna have a reason, they have a purpose. Legs reflect the feeding behaviours of birds and animals and provide us with an insight to their preferred habitat.

Oh, the wonder of legs!
